“Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it.”

INDIVIDUAL

Individual therapy is where clients work one-on-one with a trained therapist to explore feelings, beliefs, or behaviors. The majority of our clients use therapy sessions to work through challenging past situations, identify aspects of their lives that they would like to change, better understand themselves and others, set personal goals, work toward desired change, and foster more fulfilling relationships with those around them.

GROUP THERAPY

Group psychotherapy is a special form of therapy where a small number of people meet together under the guidance of a trained group therapist to help themselves and one another. If you think about it, we exist in groups - our first group being our family - and as we move through life, we do it with others. These family, school and work environments are where we grow and develop as human beings. Group psychotherapy is no different. It provides a place where you come together with others to share problems or concerns, to better understand your own situation, and to learn from and with each other. My Adult Process Group meets on Thursdays from 6:00 p.m. to 7:15 p.m.

COUPLES THERAPY

Couples therapy involves working with two people in an intimate relationship who are having difficulties and working to resolve them. The therapist works with the couple to try to identify and work through tensions and problems. Additionally, the therapist works to implement strategies that will lead to a healthier and happier relationship, such as how to listen well, how to argue fairly, and how to express feelings in the moment.
